Proteingels can be stained in seconds without needing to scrub fix or destain. Only proteins have been stained leading to well-defined blue rings on an extremely transparent background. The decrease in background interference leads to agreater signal to noise ratio and might also have a positive influence on the general resolution and sensitivity.
The InstantBlue formula is non-toxic and doesn’t include any methanol. Proteins stained with the InstantBlue blot will also be compatible with bulk spectrometry (MS) analysis. 1L reagent, including Coomassie dye, ethanol, phosphoric acid and solubilizingrepresentatives in water.
